Fluffy Top – Free Knit Pattern

Welcome to all.

Summer is finally approaching: sun, sea and fun.

So that you are not unprepared for the Summer season, today I present you with a pattern: the Fluffy top.

Knitted in the round, bottom-up, it is really suitable even for a beginner.

It can be customised in colour (e.g. you can make stripes or alternate different colours) and width. I preferred to make it wider, so that it remains softer (with an ease of 6 cm).

Its particularity? The X on his back! Very easy to make, also because the straps can also be braids or an I-cord, depending on your taste and the yarn you use.

• Needles (7.00 mm) – USA 10 1/2

How to:

CO 115 (125, 136, 148, 158, 168, 178) sts. Join in the round and place a marker in the BOR.

Round 1: K in every sts. 115 (125, 136, 148, 158, 168, 178)

Repeat Round 16 for 30 (32, 34, 37, 42, 50, 57) times, or up to the desired length.

Fasten off. Remember: when closing, keep the thread tight so that the upper part remains tighter than the initial part (if you want it tighter). Otherwise do a soft close for a softer result.

Straps: you can braid or simply roll up several strips of yarn (as I did).

Before sewing them, in the way that is easiest for you, do several tests so that you can check both the length (mine are 50 cm) and that they are in the right place on the top.

Final measurements: (M): 100 x 33 cm

How To Recycle Glass Jar for …. Store Tea.

When you go to the mall to buy some food … did you consider the packaging?

Yes it’s important for the product, for our eyes but if you think: what can I do with this can?

This was my question. I bought some honey (I love it) with this fantastic glass packaging.

As a really lover of teas and infusions I start to collect different type of glass jar. Glass bacause for me it’s the best material.

In this case I take the jar, clean it and just fill it with some black tea.

Another idea is to paint the glass like this….

My First Time … London

Credo che il titolo dica tutto. Ma visto che sono qui vorrei dirvi che cosa ho combinato in un giorno di fine novembre.

Gli ingredienti c’erano tutti, quindi perchè non partire per una toccata e fuga per poter vedere Londra?

In questo video vi spiego tutto e soprattutto vi invito a godervi le foto finali (che per motivi “pratici” sono solo una piccola parte di quelle realmente scattate”).

The Love Between John & Yoko

Finalmente riesco a tornare  sui Beatles. Ma questa volta mi focalizzo solamente su John. E soprattutto faccio un video apposito.

Il video in questione tratta dell’amore tra John e Yoko e non solo. Bisogna contestualizzare i personaggi  e non dare notizie e basta.

La motivazione principale che mi ha spinta a realizzare un video nasce dalla visione di uno speciale all’interno del programma Mistero. Per vedere di che cosa sto parlando vai qui.

Il servizio di per sè non è fatto male, ma ovviamente c’è un errore bello grosso. E qui vi piego sia di che cosa si tratta e vi do un quadrò più generale partendo anche dalla prima moglie di John.

Continuando per il rapporto con gli altri Beatles e l’enorme fake preparato a tavolino dai media.

Tutto questo cercando di farvi capire il personaggio, di per sè molto complesso, ma allo stesso tempo con dei lati che definirei infantili, ma dettati da un passato non molto semplice.

Detto questo vi lascio al video e fatemi sapere se vi potrebbero interessare degli altri video tematici e soprattutto su quale fatto/personaggio in particolare. Ovviamente sarei propensa a continuare sul filone Beatles, anche perchè mi ritengo abbastanza informata.
